Kyle of Tongue Hostel & Campsite is a family owned and run hostel, campsite and self catered accommodation based on the beautiful Kyle of Tongue overlooking the Ben Loyal “Queen of Scottish of Mountains” and Ben Hope “The most Northerly Munro”.
On site we have both a very well stocked licensed shop that is open 7 days a week during the summer season and a cosy & modern cafe/bar that is open for both residents and non-residents.
We are based on the highly popular North Coast 500 route and set within the most rural, rugged and spectacular scenery.

Hostel Accommodation
4 Star Hostel
The Kyle of Tongue Hostel is a stone lodge building, built in 1891, with a long and interesting history. In recent years it has been converted to a hostel, housing private room options, a cafe and a licensed shop, which is open to the public and is well stocked with food, drinks, toiletries and also a selection of locally crafted gifts.
4 Star Touring
Camping, Caravans and Motorhomes
In the grounds of the hostel, the fully equipped campsite and caravan park provides overnight facilities for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with hardstanding and grassy pitches, electric hook-ups and shower block.
We can accept card payments 
Residential Caravans
Located on the edge of the campsite with prime views of the Kyle and surrounding area, are 2 two bedroom residential caravans which are available for hire.
Self Catering Holiday Home
Across the road from the hostel and campsite, on the shores of the Kyle waters is a 3 bedroom self catering holiday property, Seafield, which is available for hire.
